13 “Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 3:13 (ESV)
I recently passed a new self-storage facility while I was riding my bike. They seem to spring up out of nowhere.
These companies are making a fortune on people who need extra space to store all their cherished possessions, their priceless collectables, their sentimental heirlooms or their junk.
Athlete, what are you hanging on to?
Spiritually, are you storing any useless junk?
Are there past wounds that you’ve locked away in storage?
Christian, let’s unbolt the locks, throw open the doors and get rid of all the useless stuff that’s been boxed away. Things such as:
- Unforgiveness: Ephesians 4:32
- Bitterness: Hebrews 12:15
- Unconfessed sin: James 5:16
- Pride: Proverbs 11:2
- Hatred: 1 John 2:9-17
- Unbelief: John 16:9-11
Cleanout the storage shed and move forward in freedom!
